Farm

Latchygors
is a 25 acre smallholding. We have British White cattle, Ryeland sheep,
Buff Sussex poultry - all traditional native breeds.
In addition to producing meat and eggs
we have a sizeable vegetable patch, a polytunnel and a maturing orchard,
providing us with seasonal fruit and vegetables throughout the year.
Visitors to the cottage can purchase meat and eggs.Vegetables, fruit and salad
are free of charge when available.
Our livestock is reared to high welfare
standards on our land managed under the Tir Gofal agri-environment
scheme. The stock is fed on grass and hay and the well-marbled beef is
hung to mature for three weeks to develop the flavour and tenderness.
